NIS America and Nippon Ichi Software have revealed that Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless will release on Nintendo Switch later this year.
In this latest epic strategy RPG, you will have the chance to play as the lazy warrior Fuji, diving into the demonic realm of Hinomoto where “the bushido code is out and the Hinomoto Code of Destruction is in.”
After bushido fan-girl Pirilika, described as “a naive and rich young lady,” manages to convince Fujito protect her as she pursues her own ambitions. However, there is more to this contract than meets the eye and you are advised to check the fine print…
You can expect your adventure to be “stuffed to the brim” with new features such as Jumbification, Hell Mode, Item Reincarnation, new and improved auto-battle, and online ranked battles. You will also be able to customise your own team from a “robust” roster of more than 40 character classes.
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features as below:
- Combat to the MAX: Loaded with new content including Hell Mode, Item Reincarnation and Jumbification, which lets your characters grow to supersized proportions and inflict larger-than-life damage!
- Allies in Arms: The combat potential is limitless with over 40 character classes including four brand-new additions: Maiko, Bandit, Zombie Maiden, and Big Eye!
- A Warrior’s World: Inspired by feudal Japan, the setting of Disgaea 7 draws its roots from ancient and modern history, and beautifully tells a tale of redemption.
Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless will release at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Fall 2023.
