The Pokémon Company International has announced that you can now claim a Diancite stone as a Mystery Gift in Pokémon Legends Z-A.
Once this has been received, an extra side mission called “Shine Bright like a Gemstone” will be unlocked, in which you will have the chance to encounter and catch the Jewel Pokémon, Diancie.
“Once Trainers have claimed their Diancite via Mystery Gift, they can visit the Looker Bureau, where Mimi the Espurr – Emma’s partner Pokémon – will take a special interest in the Mega Stone, setting an extra side mission in motion,” the company’s press release explains. “Completing this mission allows players to add Diancie to their team, then use the Diancite stone to Mega Evolve it into Mega Diancie, unveiling its radiant Mega Evolution in battle.”
There is no need to worry about missing your opportunity to unlock the Mystery Gift feature, as it will happen through natural story progression. The Pokémon Company International has stated that it will take “approximately one hour of play time, though individual play time may vary.”
Pokémon Legends Z-A and Pokémon Legends Z-A Nintendo Switch 2 Edition are now available at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch worldwide.
