It looks like Capcom is preparing to release Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition for Nintendo Switch 2, news that has surfaced from a rating that the Taiwan Game Software Rating Regulations body has issued.

The game was originally released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One back in 2019, and went on to receive an expanded Special Edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. That delivered improved visuals and gameplay that ran at up to 120 frames per second, introduced Vergil as a playable character and added two additional modes in Legendary Dark Knight and Turbo Mode.

The original Nintendo Switch received ports for Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2 and Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition, and, within the launch year for the portable home console’s successor, Capcom has shown strong support for Nintendo Switch 2.

That has already seen the Japanese company support the console with Street Fighter 6, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil Requiem, with PRAGMATA out next month.
