Home Net Games and 7Levels have announced that Warplanes: WW2 Dogfight will release on Nintendo Switch next month, a flight combat action game in which you take to the skies in more than 30 historical airplanes.

You will be able to manage your own base, where you can buy planes, recruit and train pilots, and build more structures to expand your operations – such as hangars, anti-aircraft artillery, and barrage balloons. Even the planes that you fly can be repainted, customized and upgraded, with the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk exclusive to this port for the portable home console.

With easy-to-learn gameplay, there are three campaigns for Great Britain, Germany and the USSR where you play as a pilot and squadron leader of an elite air force unit that has been created to complete dangerous and strategic missions.

These could turn the tide of the war and will see you dogfight with enemy fighters, protect ground structures from bombers, fight over the sea to weaken the enemy’s naval fleet, or pilot bombers to destroy strategic targets.

With English, Russian, and German radio chatter to lend authenticity to the experience, HD Rumble and motion controls are also supported.

Warplanes: WW2 Dogfight will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on February 21st, priced at €9.99 ($9.99).
