Deep Silver release Winter Stars teaser trailer

Winter Stars

Deep Silver have announced that they are currently developing Winter Stars to launch later this year.

Winter Stars aims to entice gamers off their sofas with its high quality and exhilarating motion controls, supporting Kinect, PlayStation Move and the Wii Balance Board on their respective platforms.

Players will be able to enjoy a unique “family mode” that allows each participant to choose his or her own individual difficulty level, whereas single player mode offers a campaign full of variety that allows you to experience all aspects of an athlete’s career. The story-driven single player mode not only features an extensive career system and character development, but also provides players with a series of special challenges such as training sessions that serve to break up events. You’ll be able to use experience points to then purchase new equipment and improve your skills.

You can compete in eleven disciplines, including: paraskiing, curling, snowmobile, bobsled, downhill skiing, figure skating, biathlon, freeride skiing, snowboard cross, ski flying, and short-track. In thrilling multiplayer action, up to four players can engage in dynamic competitions for championship titles, or simply enjoy the variety of winter sports themed mini-games on offer.

Winter Stars is currently scheduled to release in Q4 2011, for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii. You can catch the teaser trailer below:
