Deep Silver announce Summer Stars

Deep Silver have announced Summer Stars, follow-up to last year’s Winter Stars release.

Due to be available within the second quarter of 2012, Summer Stars is currently being developed by 49Games and will feature a challenging career mode, multiplayer for up to four players, and a large variety of disciplines and venues.

Disciplines, of which there are more than 18 within the game, will include Triple Jump, Mountain Biking, Diving and Sprinting, each supporting traditional arcade-style controls as well as motion control. Events, special challenges and competitions will take place at exciting venues such as London, the scene of the Summer Olympics, and well-known stadiums and arenas across the globe.

Summer Stars will release for Wii in Europe during the second quarter of 2012.
