Digerati and Nerdook have announced that Monster Slayers will release on Nintendo Switch, a rogue-like, deck-building adventure that pivots around a card-based battle system.

After creating a hero that joins the Monster Slayers Guild, you will choose the path that you will take through the perilous Northern Valley in your quest to slay the legendary Harbinger.

With 12 different character classes to choose from, you will soon encounter undead goblins, lion outlaws, mighty dragons, and other monstrous foes that will hamper your progress.

You will come to rely on the deck that you shape to defeat them, with the chance to acquire new cards from merchants, treasure chests, and the companions that you recruit.

The fame that you collect can be used to unlock new abilities and there’s stat-boosting loot to secure, while the levels, enemy encounters, and loot are randomly generated for every playthrough.

Monster Slayers will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on April 5th.
