inXile Entertainment has announced that Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut will see release on Nintendo Switch.

It was inXile Entertainment CEO Brian Fargo that had teased the news, showing the post-apocalyptic RPG running on the plucky portable home console.

“I have to give props to Nintendo owners for your love of the machine,” Fargo later added. “My Wasteland Switch screenshot had the quickest traction of most anything I’ve ever tweeted.”

In Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut, players will deck out their Desert Ranger squad with devastating weaponry as they look to bring justice to the wasteland.

With the chance to customise the squad with perks and quirks, you will lay fire on your enemies and debilitate them with tactical attacks – crippling their leg to slow them, hitting their gun to break it into pieces, or lining up a headshot to eradicate them as a threat.
