Idea Factory International and Compile Heart have confirmed that Death end re;Quest will release on Nintendo Switch next week.
Pitched as a game that “takes the classic turn-based RPG and turns it on its head,” you will be able to jump at will between the game world’s RPG action to the real world’s investigative visual novel sections.
In the game world, you will battle it out to blast enemies and chain your attacks with the Knockback system with the chance to switch from RPG to other game genres such as fighting, shooting, slot, puzzle or billiards.
The Nintendo Switch port will include all of the free and paid downloadable content, as well as all the original content that was found in the game’s Japanese version.
Death end re;Quest will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 27th April 2021.
