As GAME exits administration, its new executive chairman has been revealed.
MCV report that David Hamid, an operating partner at OpCapita, will assume the role, having formerly held executive positions at Dixons, MFI, Halfords, Nationwide Auto Centres and Mvideo.
Henry Jackson, managing partner and CEO for OpCapita, is also due to be involved with reviving the ailing retailer.
A replacement for previous GAME CEO Ian Shepherd will now be sought, with OpCapita’s initial bid having seen him remain with the company although the parameters changed with the on-going situation.
