Epic Games has teased that Darth Jar Jar will appear in its upcoming Star Wars-themed Fortnite Galactic Battle season, promised to be its “most expansive experience yet.”
The news was shared to coincide with Star Wars Celebration Live! 2025, where the Fortnite Galactic Battle season was confirmed to start on Friday 2 May 2025.
With a Star Wars-themed Battle Pass, you can expect weekly gameplay content and the season to conclude with a live narrative event. While Force Lightning can be used as an in-game weapon, new skins will include Emperor Palpatine and mash-up characters like Apprentice Evie in Jedi and Sith styles, and the Wookie Cuddle Team Leader.
You can expect a five-part saga with each week having its own theme, which will include:
- Imperial Takeover: 2 May 2025
- The Pull of the Force: 8 May 2025
- Mandalorian Rising: 22 May 2025
- Star Destroyer Bombardment: 29 May 2025
- Death Star Sabotage: 7 June 2025
Fortnite is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide, and will come to Nintendo Switch 2 at launch.
