With rumours swirling that it had been cancelled, THQ Nordic has announced a release date for Darksiders Warmastered Edition on Wii U.
This remastered version of the original Darksiders game promises players a “hellish HD resolution and performance improvements.” You will battle Heaven and Hell, after War – the first Horseman of the Apocalypse – is deceived into prematurely bringing about the end of the world.
Unleashing brutal attacks and supernatural abilities, players will decimate all that stand in their way as they seek to discover who was behind the deception. Wielding angelic, demonic and Earthly weapons, players will fight their way across wastelands and demon-infested dungeons in their quest for vengeance and redemption.
Darksiders Warmastered Edition will release for Wii U worldwide on May 23rd, priced at £14.99 (€19.99/$19.99).
