Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new software update for Dark Souls Remastered on Nintendo Switch, improving your experience while braving Lordran.

This has shortened the time that it takes for the player to earn souls after an enemy is knocked from high ledges and defeated, and addressed a bug that resulted in the game crashing when playing online multiplayer “for long hours.”

The “animation delay” in online multiplayer has also been reduced, as well as another issue that was discovered with the soul of Gwyn, Lord of Cinder.

  1. I had over 60 hours on this game and no crashes. After this patch installed, it’s now crashing after beating Bed of Chaos and resetting progress on that fight…
