Screwtape Studios has revealed that their vampire-slaying arcade game Damsel will release on Nintendo Switch next week.
With three episodes that contain 75 action-packed missions, the game’s comic book story sees special agent Damsel investigate the vampire-owned Red Mist Beverage Corporation.
That investigation comes after it emerges that they are creating a “secret menu” drink that contains real human blood.
In this challenging, fast-paced arcade platformer, you must dash through arenas vanquishing vampires, rescuing hostages, disarming bombs, and more.
You can compete in competitive arcade leaderboards, or take up the difficulty a notch with extra challenge modes. Whereas for those wanting to take the edge off, there’s a Chillout mode in which you don’t have to worry about Damsel dying.
Damsel will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on August 7th, and can be pre-purchased with a 15 percent discount.
