XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe have announced DAEMON X MACHINA: Titanic Scion, revealed as the “grand finale” to close out the Marvelous Game Showcase 2023.
Marvelous’ First Studio and visionary producer Kenichiro Tsukuda return with “an all-new entry in the third-person mech shooter series.”
The publisher has not confirmed whether it is destined for Nintendo Switch, but explains that you “can look forward to the return of unforgettable Arsenal action, with more details about this anticipated sequel becoming available at a later date.”
We enjoyed our time with the original game, concluding in our Daemon X Machina review: “There’s much to applaud about Daemon X Machina. The third-person mech action game delivers an experience unlike any other on Nintendo Switch, thanks to the striking mech designs and red-drenched world merging with combat that can readily thrill in the game’s many large-scale encounters.
“However, shortcomings such as the convoluted plot and repetition let it down – holding it back from reaching the brilliance that Marvelous nearly achieved.”
