Nintendo has released Mission Zero, a four-minute animated prologue to upcoming Nintendo Switch exclusive Daemon X Machina.
When AI became hostile against their human masters, the machines – known as the Immortals – set out to eradicate mankind.
That sparked a war between man and machine, and, in searching for the reason behind the betrayal, humans fought deep into the Immortals’ territory for the answer.
Daemon X Machina is the next game from Armored Core series producer Kenichiro Tsukuda, in which you will battle freely in the air and on the ground in your Arsenal, a fully customizable battle suit.
After choosing which weapons to equip, which you obtain from downed enemy Arsenals, you will set out on an array of missions to destroy your targets whatever the cost.
Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Fates illustrator and character designer Yusuke Kozaki is behind the character designs, and Mr. Kawamori, who has worked on the Armored Core series and the Super Dimension Fortress Macross series, has created the mech concept designs.
Daemon X Machina will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide on September 13th.
