amiibo have been nothing short of a sales sensation for Nintendo, with 5.7 million sold worldwide by the time 2015 rolled in.
Nintendo will in no doubt be pleased by such success, but what I’ve enjoyed seeing more is the community taking the manufactured designs and reworking them to create their own custom amiibo. There have been plenty appear since amiibo’s arrival last November, but artist LuapLand has caught our eye with the particularly brilliant Mario Pikachu amiibo.
This sees Pokémon’s signature electric mouse don Mario’s cap, gloves and dungarees, and the best part is that you can add it as a unique addition to your amiibo collection as it’s being sold through eBay. Nice work, LuapLand!
