Dead Mage has announced that Tale of Ronin will release on Nintendo Switch, a role-playing game that will explore the human side of the Samurai.
You will live as a Ronin, surviving the consequences of your choices in a world of turmoil and violence. This promises to be a game that’s about camaraderie and betrayal, war and peace, and, above all, honour.
The turn-based combat system will include the intricacies of Katana swordsmanship, while the Sekai System means that once you die the world lives on – the player starting the story of a new Ronin in the same world after each death.
“Our extreme interest in the Samurai culture and RPG games with great player freedom led us to this game,” the developer explains. “Our aim is to focus on the unique human aspects of the fierce warriors which has not been portrayed very much in other games or media.”
Tale of Ronin will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
