Alchemy Games and Old Skull Games have confirmed a release date for Cryptical Path, which is out on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch this week.
The game is pitched as “a thrilling roguelite dungeon crawler that pushes the boundaries of the genre,” in that it is “a roguelite builder that lets players be the dungeon master and the hero at the same time!”
You will set out on a journey as the Architect, building your own path and taming an ever-changing labyrinth that you’ve been trapped in.
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- Build Your Path: Forge your path through meticulously chosen rooms, sculpting an adventure that reflects your distinctive style and strategy!
- 1000’s of Possibilities: A galore of room combinations ensure every run is as unique as you want. You are the Architect, afterall!
- Fight Your Way Out: Enjoy fast-paced action in glorious 2,5D, defeat tough enemies, get upgrades, combine items and perks to optimise your runs and defeat those pesky bosses!
- Unfold the Story: Unravel the mysteries of your creation and navigate a treacherous landscape, where every shadow conceals a potential threat, and every step forward brings you closer to the wrath of those you have condemned to an eternity of darkness.
Cryptical Path will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch worldwide on 4 March 2026.
