The conclusion of a legal battle against two companies responsible for the distribution of E4 devices has seen them fined 95,625,000 yen ($944,966.25).

The Tokyo court ruled that the fine would be distributed between Nintendo and fifty other companies involved in the suit, which comprises of the likes of Square Enix, Capcom, Konami, Namco Bandai and LEVEL-5.

In Nintendo’s shared statement, they expressed that they will continue to pursue those infringing on their intellectual properties in such a way – a stark warning perhaps to the creators of the Gateway 3DS flashcart.
