Secret Mode and Max Inferno have announced that A Little to the Left is now available on Nintendo Switch, a surprise that was shared in this week’s Indie World showcase.

This cosy puzzler will challenge you to sort, stack and organise household items into whichever arrangement best pleases you. However, you will need to watch out for a mischievous cat that has an inclination for chaos.

The idea for the game was born from developers Annie Macmillan and Lukas Steinman’s experience during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the calming influence they found from tidying and sorting their belongings at the time.

“We’re so excited to bring A Little to the Left to Nintendo Switch,” enthuses Max Inferno co-founder Anne Macmillan. “It’s been so hard to keep this launch under wraps and we hope today’s release is a welcome surprise for you all.

“Back at the very start of our development period we always considered Nintendo Switch to be the dream platform for our puzzle game. Playing with the touch screen controls is the perfect way to unwind when Rookie isn’t trying to paw the screen.”

The publisher has outlined the game’s key features as below:

  • Solve puzzles by arranging objects into curious patterns.
  • Multiple solutions make for intuitive and satisfying puzzle design.
  • A remixed puzzle solution unique for you every day with The Daily Tidy Delivery.
  • Perfect for casual puzzle game fans and those who get a jolt of satisfaction from a well-organised space.

A Little to the Left is now available digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide, priced at £12.99 ($14.99).
