Costumed Pikachu forms were perhaps the most perplexing aspect of last week’s Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire reveals within CoroCoro magazine last week.
We now know these to be Cosplay Pikachu, newly introduced within the 3DS exclusive and an extension to Pokémon Amie. Their localised names will be Pikachu Rock Star, Pikachu Belle, Pikachu Pop Star, Pikachu Ph.D., and Pikachu Libre. While they can primarily be interacted with through Pokémon Amie, they have a connection to a type of Contest Hall in-game! If that sounds especially vague, more information is promised in August.
Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire will release in North America on November 21st, and Europe on November 28th.
