CoroCoro Comic has provided early details about a special Ho-Oh distribution event for Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.
This will see a serial code be published within the pages of the Japanese magazine’s August issue, which will land at retailers on July 15th to coincide with Pokémon The Movie: I Choose You! opening at cinemas across the country.
The Rainbow Pokémon will play an important role in the 20th-anniversary movie, in which Ash and Pikachu will meet the new Mythical Pokémon Marshadow who will help guide them to Ho-Oh’s location where, with the Rainbow Wing that they carry, legends say that they will become Heroes of the Rainbow.
The Level, Moves and Held Item for the Ho-Oh that will be distributed are currently unknown, but we’ll keep you posted with any news.
