Nintendo has revealed the coral-coloured Nintendo Switch Lite, the next addition to the existing range of colour options for the console.
With integrated controls and a compact, lightweight design, the console is dedicated to playing in handheld mode and has a 5.5-inch touch screen and a battery life that will last approximately 3 – 7 hours.
The revision does not have a kickstand and cannot be placed in a Nintendo Switch Dock as it does not support video output to a TV, meaning that it won’t come with either the peripheral or an HDMI cable.
The controls also won’t have HD Rumble or an IR Motion Camera – meaning that you can’t use Nintendo Labo, for example.
You can play all Nintendo Switch games that support handheld mode, but “some games will have restrictions” which will be listed on game packaging and on the Nintendo eShop.
The Nintendo Switch Lite will release worldwide on 3rd April 2020 priced at $199.99.
