eastasiasoft has confirmed a release date for the cyberpunk kitchen automation puzzler Neon Noodles on Nintendo Switch.
From developer Vivid Helix, you will have the chance to “orchestrate culinary perfection in a dystopian world where food is power and precision is everything.”
As a mysterious figure with no memory and a hidden past, you will rise through the ranks of a Criminal Rehabilitation Program to uncover your true identity and run Neon Noodles.
Placing you in control of a futuristic food factory, you must record and refine the movements of your robotic chefs as they create a global menu of dishes from more than 250 recipes using over 400 ingredients.
That presents the opportunity to design elaborate machines and optimise your food production pipeline, in your efforts to expose the corporate secrets behind the world’s most coveted meals.
“I designed Neon Noodles with controller support from the start, so players could flexibly create and optimise the smallest, fastest – or simply the prettiest – cooking layouts in a truly cyberpunk future,” explains Vivid Helix founder and solo developer Radu Muresan.
“The idea actually came to me after playing Overcooked and thinking, ‘I want this… but without having to talk to anyone.’ So instead, you get to program robots!”
Neon Noodles will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 16 July 2025.
