Majesco Entertainment have announced that they are to release Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic for Nintendo 3DS later this year.

You’ll be able to enjoy new recipes, kitchen activities and dish combinations, as kitchen newbies will be transformed into master culinary artists! Players are invited to slice, dice, knead, toss and flip their way through over 200 unique mini-games as you cook in brand new ways with the Nintendo 3DS gyroscope, including cracking eggs, flipping pans, balancing plates and more.

Bronze, Silver and Gold medals will allow you to measure your progress whilst mixing over 60 recipes, ranging from side dishes to full meals, alongside the ability to organise, decorate and clean your kitchen.

“We’re very proud of the work we’ve put in to make the Mama brand one of the most successful and recognizable franchises in the industry,” commented Jesse Sutton, Chief Executive Officer of Majesco Entertainment. “Gamers of all ages and backgrounds have been enjoying the Mama titles for years, and we think they’ll continue to do so with these next two additions as Mama explores new territories, be it the wild outdoors or the new technology the 3DS provides. With three additional cross-platform Mama skus planned for 2012, as well as the continued expansion of Cooking Mama Friend’s Café on Facebook, Majesco is committed long-term to this beloved franchise.”
