Koei Tecmo has announced that Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening Complete Edition will launch alongside Nintendo Switch 2.
In Kou Shibusawa’s historical simulation, you must learn the finer points of both military might and political cunning – attempting to accomplish Nobunaga Oda’s unachieved ambition to unify Japan through a series of escalating war strategies and diplomacy.
Now optimised for Nintendo Switch 2 the game will include Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, the downloadable content from the original game and six new scenarios along with climactic Decisive Battles.
You will be able to launch joint offenses with allies, break through the frontlines en route to enemy castles, and appoint officers to influence both political and economic strategies while experiencing life as a daimyo in the troubled times of the Warring States Period, 16th-century Japan.
Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening Complete Edition will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 5 June 2025.
