Toge Productions and Rolling Glory Jam have announced that Rage in Peace will release on Nintendo Switch next week, a story-driven comic platformer in which you must battle death and fate so that protagonist Timmy Malinu can die in peace.
The emotionally numb 27-year-old actuary’s greatest desire is to die in the most peaceful way possible: asleep in his pyjamas, in the comfort of his own home, with no drama.
But, when the Grim Reaper turns up to inform Timmy that he will die that night of decapitation, his only concern is that he goes out without even a whimper.
And while it has death as its theme, the developer has looked to create an upbeat, comical game with warm humour and bright colours – brought to life with muse from more than 10 independent Indonesian bands.
“Rage in Peace ponders a serious existential subject like death and presents it in an amusing, light-hearted way,” explains Toge Productions CEO and founder Kris Antoni. “Its introspective humour will appeal to a wide range of players, and the fast-paced gameplay will keep them on their toes!”
Rage in Peace will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on November 8th.
