GRYPHLINE and Hypergryph have announced that their multiplayer co-op platform adventure game POPUCOM is in development for Nintendo Switch.
Summoned to an unknown planet, you must set out on an exoplanet expedition with your friends. You will face various enemies and must use items and techniques to eliminate such threats to restore the planet to its former glory.
The game has two main modes: a narrative-driven story mode designed for two players, and a “high-energy” Party Mode for three to four players that is “perfect for chaotic fun and shared laughter.” Both modes can be played in either local or online co-op multiplayer.
There are also several accessibility options, such as a colourblind assist mode with customisable colour schemes and a colour enhancement mode to boost the functional colours of adventurers and map objects.
POPUCOM will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Holiday 2025.
