Nippon Ichi Software has announced that Closed Nightmare will release on Nintendo Switch, a live-action Japanese horror game that they had previously teased as Project Nightmare.

You play as Maria Joudai, who wakes up to discover that she has become part of an experiment. With her left arm paralysed and being unable to recollect any memories, she is contacted by a child, Chizuru, who explains that she must complete the experiment before she can leave.

Without understanding what the experiment is or when it will start, you will have to work through live-action movies, text, exploration, and other gameplay mechanics to work out what’s happening.

Closed Nightmare will release for Nintendo Switch in Japan on July 19th.
