Wired Productions and Storm in a Teacup have revealed that Close to the Sun will release on Nintendo Switch.

This Unreal Engine 4-developed first-person horror game takes place in an alternative 19th Century, in which famed inventor and futurist Nikola Tesla fulfilled his potential and changed the world forever.

You will step aboard the Helios, where, playing as the heroine Rose, you must search the colossal scientific research vessel for your lost sister Ada.

Grand halls stand empty. The stench of rotting flesh lingers in the air. Silence. A single word is painted across the entrance… QUARANTINE!

“Close to the Sun has been counted among the most stunning games of 2019,” explains Wired Productions managing director Leo Zullo.

“Bringing titles that look this good to Switch is a challenge that we relish and the standard reached is a testament to the quality of our partner studios.”

Close to the Sun will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2019.
