We already know The Emperor’s Speech as the winning European entry in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate’s weapon design contest, but Capcom shared their North American victor at San Diego Comic-Con 2014 over the weekend.
The Clockwork Contraption, designed by Agent Specter, is the first fully-mechanised Insect Glaive. This is a new weapon being introduced in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for the first time, and is described as a double-ended rod. It also comes with a Kinsect, which can be sent to attack whichever target you’re hunting.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will release exclusively for 3DS in early 2015.
