N-Fusion Interactive has revealed that Ember will release on Nintendo Switch next week, which is a homage to classic role-playing games.

You enter Ember’s world as a resurrected Lightbringer, who has been summoned to protect the dying Embers as the world verges on the brink of collapse.

Starting out in the Deep Barrows, this more than 30 hour-long quest will see you explore vast realms both above and below ground in your effort to reach the City of Light.

Pivotal decisions about your own destiny will steer the story, as you work to complete more than 70 quests and use over 65 combat skills in the party-based real-time combat system with tactical pause.

“Ember is a passion project and a game idea we’ve been working on for more than 10 years,” explains N-Fusion Interactive CEO and creative director Jeff Birns.

“We are eager to share Ember with the gaming community and hope they will appreciate it as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it over the years.”

Ember will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 21st January 2020 priced at £14.99 ($19.99), with a 25 percent pre-order discount.
