Nintendo are continuing to spread the worldwide adoration of Animal Crossing: New Leaf by announcing a “Welcome a Friend Promotion” within yesterday’s Nintendo Direct.
Any copies registered through Club Nintendo since that game’s European launch on June 14th, and any added by September 7th, will be valid to receive a Recommendation Code that may be passed to a friend.
If such friend then purchases a Nintendo 3DS XL between August 7th – October 7th, they can then enter the Recommendation Code to receive a free digital copy of the globally popular release.
