CITV to debut Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened

As the world eagerly anticipates the arrival of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, CITV will help celebrate the arrival of the Nintendo 3DS exclusives by hosting a special Pokémon animation event on Saturday 19th October.

Those that tune into the CITV Movie Club at 9.25am can catch the debut of Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened, which sees five Genesect invading the city and threatening its power supply. This attracts the attention of Mewtwo, whose Mega Evolution will be seen within the animated film.

This will be followed by a sneak peak at the first two episodes of Pokémon the Series: XY, airing at 11.35am on the 19th / 20th October, with the full season set to air on CITV in 2014.
