SEGA and Eden Industries have announced that Citizens of Space will release on Nintendo Switch next week.

This sequel to 2015’s Citizens of Earth will see you play as the newly elected Ambassador of Earth to the Galactic Federation of Planets.

Everything seemed like it was ok until you arrive at the Federation headquarters for your first assembly. Earth has disappeared, and, with the planet that you are supposed to represent now missing, you are out of a job and home.

You must recruit more than 40 Citizens from across the galaxy, journeying to wacky worlds in an effort to work out who was responsible.

That will see you battle it out against enemies using a newly-designed combat system, in which you must perfect your timing in reflex-based minigames to secure victory.

Citizens of Space will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on June 18th, priced at $14.99.
