Outright Games and Aardman have confirmed a release date for their upcoming action-stealth video game Chicken Run: Eggstraction on Nintendo Switch.
Following on from Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, the movie’s feathered heroes continue their adventures as they work to save chicken-kind from the evil nugget industry.
You will set out on a mission to infiltrate five fortified farms and liberate the captive chickens, being mindful of the “eggstra” security measures that have been put in place that you will need to overcome.
From watchful security cameras and hawkeyed humans to hiding in traffic cones, your stealth, skills and strategy will be tested – whether choosing to play solo or in local co-op multiplayer for up to two players.
Written by Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget contributor Larry Rickard, Bella Ramsey and Josie Sedgwick-Davies return to reprise their roles as Molly and Frizzle, and you can expect new loopy poultry villains and a “surprise cameo” from Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.

Chicken Run: Eggstraction will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 24 October 2025.
