The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild continues to be a game that promises near endless discovery, with players experimenting with the physics-based world that Nintendo has worked hard to create.

One such player is YouTuber GirKart64, who has been messing around with the Sheikah Slate rune powers, taking down Lynel in unique ways, and flipping Guardians over with Cryonis.

What has caught most attention though, is their effort to perform a long distance shield parry – which the game refers to as a Perfect Guard. This can be successfully performed by readying your shield and pressing A when the attack is about to hit you, and, when facing Guardians, will let you deflect their laser beam back to their sender.

That is exactly how it has been used here, where, after alerting a Guardian with a perfectly aimed arrow, the laser beam is deflected right back at the mechanical monstrosity. It’s impressive stuff.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch and Wii U worldwide.
