Nintendo of America has looked to spread some festive cheer at one of their Holiday Mall Experiences, with the help of the incomparable Charles Martinet and a certain mustachioed Italian plumber.
With youngsters lured by a booth’s promise to simply ‘Jump Here For Fun,’ they soon find themselves having a conversation with Super Mario himself. It’s a demonstration of that distinct Nintendo magic, Martinet adding the personal touch while throwing in a few jokes.
After asking what they have put on their Santa list, the animated Mario character beckons some Christmas elves to surprise everyone with their requested presents.
The video, while primarily being used to advertise the company’s Holiday Mall Experiences, perfectly captures Nintendo’s main ambition to make everyone smile. Which is something I hope we can all do at this time of the year!
