Nintendo have announced plans for a special Mario themed event that will take place at John Lewis on Oxford Street in London.
The event will run between 9.30am – 8pm on Saturday 7th September, and then 12.30pm to 6pm on Sunday 8th September. Attendees will be able to meet Mario and Luigi, compete in hourly Mario Kart 7 competitions to win a trophy, and enjoy Nintendo-themed colouring books and jigsaws.
The star attraction though will be Charles Martinet making an appearance, the legendary man who voices Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi among others. He will only be there for the Saturday session, available for autograph and photo opportunities between 11am-1pm, and 2pm-4pm.

Charles Martinet set for London appearance on September 7th
Met Charles yesterday at GAME in Birmingham. They always say never meet your heroes, but Charles couldn’t have been a nicer guy! He signed everything I put in front of him, was funny, and even gave me tips on how to get into voice acting. If I were able to go to London and meet him again, I would. Definitely recommend going if you can.
