Charizard 3DS XL sweeps Japan

The Pokémon Company have announced plans to release a Nintendo 3DS XL emblazoned with Pokémon favourite Charizard, following the success of the recently launched Pikachu model.

Whilst consumers were able to pre-order the Pikachu 3DS XL at Pokémon Centers across Japan, owning the Charizard model will be decidedly more difficult.

A lottery will be held between November 3rd-26th, those having reserved left hoping that they will be drawn as a winner.

The winners will then be able to purchase the special Charizard 3DS XL for 18,900 yen between December 15th and January 14th.
