Zen Studios have announced that CastleStorm will see release on Wii U across North America and Europe December 26th, which will see you gleefully assault fortifications after Christmas Day.
“Medieval warfare meets 2D physics-based destruction” according to the developer, players taking control of artillery, troops and spells to topple their opponent. Boasting a story-driven solo campaign, a custom castle editor, online multiplayer, and co-op modes, this is a Nintendo eShop title that seems packed with content.
Off-TV Play is available with the Wii U GamePad, whilst local multiplayer can see another player use the Wii U Pro Controller to take control of the television to go up against you.
CastleStorm will be available through the Wii U’s Nintendo eShop for just $9.99 in North America and €9.99 in Europe on December 26th.
