Capcom: Wii U announcement coming “very soon”

Capcom has confirmed that they will be sharing details regarding their first Wii U title “very soon,” stating that it won’t be shown at Gamescom.

Having already supported the Nintendo 3DS with key releases including Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition and Resident Evil: Revelations, their Wii U silence is perplexing.

“There is a rumour that we are working on a Wii U game,” Michael Pattison, Capcom’s head of marketing for Europe and the US, explained to MCV.

“It won’t be at this show. But we do have something waiting in the wings, and we will be talking about that very soon.”

Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long!
