Capcom has “no plans” to release Resident Evil 7 on Nintendo Switch, but the team is looking forward to working on what they see as “a very unique piece of hardware.”
That will come as a disappointment to those that had perhaps hoped that the first-person survival horror game had a chance at haunting players on Nintendo Switch.
“I think it’s a very unique piece of hardware,” producer Masachika Kawata explained to Express Online. “I’m looking forward to the possibilities of the system itself, but we have no plans at the moment regarding Resident Evil on Switch.”
Resident Evil 7 will release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One worldwide on January 24th.
