Capcom have confirmed that a live-action feature film based upon Nintendo DS title Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is currently underway.
The film, directed by Takashi Miike of “Crows Zero” and “Thirteen Assassins” fame, will star Hiroki Narimiya as Phoenix Wright, Takumi Saito as rival prosecutor Miles Edgeworth and Mirei Kiritani as Phoenix’s assistant and spirit medium Maya Fey.
Production is to be handled by Nippon Television Network Corporation, with Toho Co., Ltd to distribute the film with it currently being scheduled to release in early Spring 2012 across Japan.
