Whilst we know Resident Evil Revelations will utilise the Wii U GamePad and Wii U Pro Controller, other control schemes remain in doubt.
The Wii Remote and Nunchuk, a popular combination among motion control fans, now definitely won’t be an option within Capcom’s reworking of the game.
“Unfortunately [Revelations] is only supported by the Wii U GamePad at the moment,” Capcom’s Mike Lumm confirmed. “We’re doing what we can to get the new classic controller compatibility, but the game’s not setup to track motions from the Wii Remote at this time.”
Such control scheme had worked well within Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, whilst first-person shooters such as Call of Duty: Black Ops II also see the controller duo as a preference.
