After speculation since the game’s announcement, Activision have confirmed that they will deliver Call of Duty: Ghosts on Wii U.

GameSpot’s E3 coverage saw Infinity Ward executive producer Mark Rubin take to the stage, confirming that their ambitious entry will be available on Nintendo’s console.

“Right now we’ve only announced current-gen and PC, [which will release on] Nov. 5,” Rubin revealed. “[Wii U] is probably in the next-gen bin. We’re not actually talking about Wii U yet because we want to keep it mysterious.”

Oo-er! Perhaps the Wii U will see a version geared more toward the hardware, akin to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – Reflex. What are you hoping for?
