Buy Tomodachi Life and receive two Welcome Version codes for friends

For those yet to be swayed by the insanity that is Tomodachi Life, Nintendo have announced a rather unique ‘try before you buy’ initiative.

This will see those that purchase Tomodachi Life from launch receive two free download codes for Tomodachi Life: Welcome Version, a chance for anyone to sample the off-the-wall experience before, hopefully, buying themselves. The Welcome Version allows friends or family to play the beginning of the full game, create up to three Mii characters to inhabit their island with, and will reward them with a rare Panda Suit item (in one of eight colours) upon completion of the demo.

If they enjoy the experience they can purchase the game through the Nintendo eShop or at retail, and can transfer their created Miis and all progress across. The Welcome Version can be completed multiple times, although will overwrite the previous save file meaning that your most recent save file will be transferred across.

Tomodachi Life launches on 3DS across Europe and North America on June 6th, at retail and through the Nintendo eShop.
