Sabec has announced that Scalextric will release on Nintendo Switch next week, a port of their popular mobile app that was first released eight years ago.

It promises to let you rediscover the magic of Scalextric, using the track creator to build your own fast, fun and challenging tracks – or choose to race around one of the 12 pre-built World race tracks.

With four customisable classic cars to drive, you can play against a friend or against a computer-controlled car to which the developer claims that “winning won’t come easy.”

Scalextric will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on June 12th, priced at £9.99.
