Auroch Digital, Code by Fire and Mode 7 have confirmed that their city-building game The Colonists will release on Nintendo Switch.
Taking inspiration from classics such as The Settlers and Anno, the gameplay experience has looked to combine “charming robots and automated production to make a satisfying settlement building game.”
You must help the game’s cute robots build their dream settlement, with each having its own job to fulfil whether that be harvesting crops and fishing at the lake to transporting resources and discovering distant lands.
With both peaceful and military campaign modes, the game comes to the portable home console with re-designed controls from the ground up and a reimagined user interface that has looked to target accessibility for all players.
The Colonists will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2021.
